Digest: Tippecanoe and Tyler, Too! [Watching]

I grew up a few miles from Tippecanoe, Indiana. Every year we would canoe down the river — it’s a very slow moving river and when I was really young my Dad and his buddies would set up a fish camp to catch catfish. Mostly it was a get away from fram work and a chance to drink beer and play poker. I got to go once — a rite of passage. I was never sure if the little town was the historical town in the song for Harrison’s campaign but always hoped so. The river still moves slowly and empties into the Wabash. Here is They Might Be Giant’s cover from The Morning News.

Sent here to discover Tad by his brother Jon, I have drifted through the galleries, disconnecting from my surround in this here and now, and wondered where Tad was, in his phases of evolution of awareness, dipicted here deconstructed.
And wonder where his evolution has taken him nest on his biggest journey.
