Snow
Driving in to Iron Knot Ranch for a teaching by Khentrul Lodro T’haye Rinpoche. A great weekend but cold and wet.
The Teaching was on Mipham Rinpoche’s “Beacon of Certainty”
The Studio Window
Here’s a picture of the boarded up window. I hope my rusty latin is accurate. “There is nothing to see any more” and “Where there is love there is sight”

Vandals
For the second time in two weeks my studio window has been smashed. It’s a $400.00 window. So today I boarded it up. It will mean 8 more feet of wall space inside, but less street appeal. For now I started a painting, on the left side:
“Illic est nusquam video vidi visum ullus magis”
There is nothing to see any more
on the right side:
“Ubi amor ibi oculus est”
Where there is love there is sight
It’s a painting in progress, pictures to follow.
